Home Again, Naturally

It's Valentine's today and I decided to be good to myself and produce a pen and ink sketch of my beloved childhood home. While sketching it out, memories came flooding back. The Mustang I raced around with (my mom's car, but, well, YOU know), the crazy little black beagle mutt we named Tiny, the summers in the front yard orchard with my pal Marlyn, the cool evenings wandering down the hill behind the house to the Red River to contemplate life, the hours in front of the fieldstone fireplace with my family - the fireplace and indeed, the whole house, was lovingly designed and built by my late father, Wilf Neufeld. You are still missed.
